Empowering The Artist creative online experience offers an in-depth look in the preparations needed to creating a prosperous and rewarding career. Extending actors beyond their previous training and understanding of what to expect from life, as well as what is expected of artists in both performance and self-promotion. This includes but not limited to Empowering The Artist; The Business of Acting; Goal Setting & Intentions: Career Development, Marketing and Life Skills; Self Care & Motivation; Theory & History of Acting, Film & Television; Truth in Performance: the artistic self vs the daily self; Create Your Own Content and The Artists Showcase.

This course has three central focuses. The Art, The Artist & The Business.

Further develop and enhance your Acting training, translating and refocusing it through Theatre, Film and TV and making you the best actor you can be. Educating you about LA. How "The Industry" works for actors (and what is meant by that term) and how best to leverage that. Discovering your true creative self, what does it mean to step into my power? Preparation + Opportunity = Success!

Empowering The Artist provides the emerging artist a safe environment from which to launch his or her career on an international level. Using programmed activities that promote and allow growth; Guidance and advice from Industry professionals, AAFTA partners and staff; Visual Mediums and Motivation; Empowering The Artist provides a creative community of peer support that will challenge you on an exciting new level.
